We met after being paired as "study buddies" for our law school corporations class. We took a quiz that asked about our study habits, which was aimed to match us with the perfect study buddy. Little did we know that our study habits would lead us to finding our perfect match for life! After a semester filled with a lot more talking and laughing than studying, our love story began. We also ending up with great grades in corporations.

In their corporations class, the professor showed a video of John Oliver making fun of how gross Olive Garden is. After that class, Jack texted Regina to ask her if she wanted to go to Olive Garden together. Ever since then, Olive Garden has been an inside joke between the two, with a main joke being that Jack should propose with a ring on a breadstick in Olive Garden. Being ever so clever, Jack decided that he would propose in an "olive garden," just not the chain restaurant known for its never ending soup and salad. He reached out to an olive farm in Fairfield, CA called Il Fiorello and they were on board to help him create his dream proposal. Jack told Regina they would be going to this olive farm to take a tour and do an olive oil tasting to celebrate the fact that she had just taken the bar exam. The whole staff was in on it and at the very end of the tour, the guide took them to a beautiful garden area and said the cue line "magical things happen in this garden." Jack then asked Regina to marry him and she happily accepted!
