Granville Island

For a fun and scenic way to get there, hop on one of the small water taxis from downtown. The quick ride across False Creek offers great views and drops you right at the heart of the island!
Gastown
Gastown is a historic neighborhood with cobblestone streets, the iconic Steam Clock, unique shops, and trendy coffee shops/restaurants.
Robson Street
Robson Street is where you go if you feel like shopping. This area is lined with boutiques, popular brands, and a variety of restaurants and cafés.
English Bay Beach
Check out English Bay and watch a stunning sunset or see the A-maze-ing Laughter statues. Explore the variety of restaurants on Denman Street then grab a cone from the Rain or Shine ice cream truck for a sweet treat.
Bowen Lookout
Located on Cypress Mountain, the Bowen Island Lookout Trail offers a short hike with stunning views of Howe Sound. The trail is mostly flat, with a steeper incline near the end. Along the way up Cypress Mountain, stop at the Cypress Mountain lookout for a beautiful view of Vancouver.
Lynn Canyon Park
Lynn Canyon is a great spot for an easy hike, with cool forest trails, waterfalls, and a fun suspension bridge. You can explore the surroundings, snap some photos from the bridge, and take swim in one of the swimming holes. ***It is very cold, you have been warned**
Deep Cove
Visit deep cove and rent a kayak or SUP board and explore the waters or take a short hike up to Quarry Rock to get a view of the cove down below. Feeling like something sweet? Check out Honey Donuts! Get here early as parking can be a bit of a struggle in the afternoon.
Whytecliff Park
Whytecliff Park is a beautiful spot in West Vancouver, ideal for walking, relaxing by the beach, or kayaking. You might even catch a sea lion sunbathing on the beach during the summer!
Squamish
Just a quick drive from Vancouver, Squamish is an outdoor adventure hotspot! Along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, be sure to stop at Porteau Cove Provincial Park to take in the views and check out Shannon Falls. You can also ride the Sea-to-Sky Gondola, hike Stawamus Chief Mountain (be prepared for steep trails with chains and ladders at the end), or explore the beautiful area. Need food? Check out Fergie's Cafe and eat outside between the trees.
