Things To Do

Kendall Ledges (Ledges Overlook)

405 Truxell Rd, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Peninsula, OH 44264-9734

Jack and I began dating in 2020 when everything was shut down, so, for our first date we went to watch a sunset at the ledges. It's a lovely place to go for a hike or take a picnic!

Winking Lizard Copley

79 Springside Drive, Akron, OH 44333

One of our favorite date night spots and a local favorite.

The Winery at Wolf Creek

2637 South Cleveland Massillon Road, Barberton, OH 44203

Wolf Creek Winery is one of our favorite wineries the area. Take a picnic, pet the goats, and hey, maybe sample a wine or two! (Check out the wine "Pandemia" if you're there. It's Jack's favorite)

The Green Dragon Inn

115 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308

Jack and I have hosted multiple events at this spot since it opened last year. Do you love board games and drinks named after your favorite mythical characters? Then this might be a place you'll want to check out.

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens

714 North Portage Path, Akron, OH 44303

Stan Hywet is a tudor mansion that was built in 1915 by the co-founder of Goodyear Tires, Frank Seiberling. It is beautiful to tour inside and out!

Trecaso's Mary Coyle Fine Italian Cuisine & Ice Cream

780 West Market Street, Akron, OH 44303

Mary Coyle's is a family favorite ice cream shop. My personal favorite flavors are their coconut and chocolate almond.

Akron Children's Museum

216 South Main Street, Akron, OH 44308

The Children's Museum has delighted many a nephew of mine and is a great place to entertain any littles traveling with you for an hour or two. Admission is $7 for kids and adults. Children under 1 are free.
