FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nicole Osborn and Jack Post
Question

Should I bring cash for anything?

Answer

While cash is not necessary, we recommend bringing some just in case! While there will be drinks available free of charge, there will be a cash bar available as well! We are also having a raffle with a bunch of cool prizes, so bring cash if you want a chance to win! (We are going to try Venmo as an option but the WiFi at the venue can be spotty and may not allow for this option). Raffle tickets will be 1 for $5 or 5 for $20.

Question

Can I bring a guest / plus-one?

Answer

If it is listed on your wedding invitation envelope, you may bring a guest. In an effort to keep the wedding as intimate and close-to-budget as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation envelope will be accommodated. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

We will reach out one time with a reminder to everyone who has not RSVP'd. One (1) week after the reminder, anyone who has not RSVP'd will be marked as "not attending". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is essential that we give our vendors the final guest counts by their deadlines.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal / dressy casual. We’d love to see you in outfits that feel dressy but comfortable — think spring dresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts, khakis, or blazers (ties optional). You may consider bringing layers as the weather in the midwest can be unpredictable! There will be concrete paths for walking and activities on grass, so most types of shoes should work well. Most importantly, come as yourself, ready to celebrate, and wear what makes you most comfortable and confident!

Question

Where can I stay the night?

Answer

There are a variety of options for places to stay the night, whether you are arriving a day early or wanting to stay nearby after the reception! Please see the "Lodging" tab at the top of this page for more detailed information.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Parking will be available onsite. There will be signs at the venue to help guide you along the way!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! Children are absolutely welcome — we’re excited to celebrate with guests of all ages. We’ll have fun activities to keep kids entertained during the ceremony and reception, along with kid-friendly meals to make sure even the pickiest of eaters are happy!

Question

Where will all the day's events be located?

Answer

Everything from Ceremony to Reception will take place at the same venue, Winnebago Springs!

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding truly means the world to us, and we feel so lucky just to celebrate with you! If you’d like to give a gift, we are kindly asking for contributions to our honeymoon fund/ some of our favorite hobbies together as we start this new adventure as a married couple. You can find the details on our Registry page.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! There will be light snacks available following the ceremony as well as a delicious buffet-style dinner with a variety of options. There will be signature drinks, keg beer, and non-alcoholic beverages available to guests free of charge starting during the cocktail hour, as well as a cash bar with more drink options! Come hungry and ready to celebrate!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive by 3:45pm so you have time to find your seat before the ceremony begins. We can’t wait to see you there!

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place in the air chapel on the grounds of Winnegabo Springs. This area has a concrete floor and is covered overhead (but has no walls), so will be susceptible to some weather! Please dress accordingly for whatever Mother Nature may throw at us that day!

Question

I have a dietary restriction. What should I do?

Answer

If you have a dietary restriction, please mention this on your RSVP and Jack and Nicole, along with the caterers, will do their best to make accommodations.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 25th through this website's RSVP tab (can be found at the top of this page). You will then be directed through prompts that will help us make sure all of our guests have the best day celebrating! If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us. We’re looking forward to celebrating with you!

Question

What is the closest airport and will there be transportation provided?

Answer

The closest airports to the venue are in La Crosse, WI (LSE) and Rochester, MN (RST). These are smaller airports and may be more expensive to fly into. A cheaper flight may be found by flying into Minneapolis, MN (MSP), but would require a drive (about 2.5 hours) to the venue. For more details, please visit the "Travel" tab located at the top of this page. Unfortunately, there will not be any transportation provided by the couple from airports/hotels to the venue. There may be free transportation offered from the airport to your hotel, but you will have to inquire with your selected hotel for this service. We will have friends and family arriving from all around the country who will be staying in a variety of places, so carpooling with another wedding attendee to the venue may be an option, reach out to the couple if this is something you are interested in!

Question
