Yes! Our dress code is summer semi-formal. For girls, we'd suggest wearing a colorful, dressy, midi or maxi length dress. For guys, we'd recommend a lightweight suit or a vest. Aside from these suggestions, what's most important is that you wear something that makes you feel good!
After receiving your formal invitation, please RSVP on our wedding website by May 31, 2025.
If "and guest" or your guest's name is written on your formal wedding invitation, you may bring a plus one to our wedding. Aside from children in our wedding party, we will be having a child-free ceremony and reception.
Colorado summers are beautiful, though they can be unpredictable! Temperatures may be anywhere from the mid 60's to 80+. Our wedding will be indoors, though there is a short outdoor walk between our ceremony and reception spaces.
The elevation of our venue in Palmer Lake, CO is 7,159 ft. For those of you who visiting a higher elevation for the first time, please note that altitude sickness is real and not uncommon! Acute altitude sickness may occur anywhere with an elevation of 6,500 ft or higher. Symptoms include headache, fatigue, nausea, and dizziness. The best way to prepare for time at a higher altitude is to drink plenty of water and electrolytes prior to and during your trip. Oh- and while we do have an open bar, be aware that alcohol will affect you much more quickly at a higher elevation!
Yes, we have reserved room blocks at two hotels in the Colorado Springs area! If you are interested in booking a room in one of these blocks, detailed information is available on the ‘travel’ page of this website.
