We invite you to dress in elegant cocktail attire with a refined garden party feel. While this is a backyard wedding, we encourage more elevated fabrics rather than casual sundresses or everyday wear. Women may wear cocktail-length, midi, or maxi dresses. Men may wear suits or blazers (ties optional). No jeans please. The celebration will take place on grassy outdoor areas, so short block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are recommended over stilettos. Most of the event will be hosted outdoors, with temperatures as high as 85 degrees during the ceremony and as low as 55 degrees in the evening, so layers are encouraged.
You bet there is! For those who want the party to continue, shuttles will take guests to Little Bear Saloon in downtown Evergreen from 10:00 PM to Midnight, with return transportation provided afterward. If you plan to attend, you must RSVP accordingly, as space on the shuttles is limited.
Your invitation will indicate whether a plus-one has been included.
We respectfully request an adults-only celebration unless otherwise specified on your invitation.
While there’s no official welcome party, guests are welcome to gather at Cactus Jack’s in downtown Evergreen on Friday night. It’s a great spot to grab a drink, mingle with friends, and you never know — the bride and groom may stop by, too!
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors at the Shermans’ beautiful creekside home. We recommend planning accordingly and bringing layers for comfort, as temperatures may cool in the evening.
Evergreen is roughly 7,200 ft in elevation. Make sure to drink more water than you normally would and know that alcohol will catch up to you quicker than normal!
