Authentic sushi gem hidden in Waikiki.

Hau Tree

A short walk from Waikiki, this restaurant has a patio on one of our favorite beaches. Recommend for brunch beachside - make a reservation to guarantee a spot outside!

FOOD - OUTSIDE WAIKIKI

Authentic Japanese izakaya run by the nicest family you'll ever meet.

Mud Hen Water

Where we had our first date! Amazing fresh, local, small plates.

Some of the best food in Honolulu. Vietnamese fusion and always perfection.

Farm to table restaurant in the middle of Chinatown, always great service and food.

DRINK

Green Lady Cocktail Room

431 Nohonani Street, Honolulu, HI 96815

Lively speakeasy with the best cocktails in Waikiki. Google how to get in before you go - it's not the easiest to find.

Mai Tai Bar

2259 Kalākaua Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815

Classic beachside cocktails at the iconic pink Royal Hawaiian hotel.

POKE

Poke Fix Hawaii

334 Seaside Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815

Favorite poke inside of Waikiki.

Tamura's Fine Wine & Liquors Waialae

3496 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96816

Poke spot that's also a liquor store. A few locations across the island. The best fresh poke on island and a true one-stop shop. Our favorites are any of the ahi, the hamachi, and the spicy pipikaula.

ACTIVITIES

Kualoa Ranch

Kaneohe, HI 96744

Stunning property on the east side of the island - lots of different tour / activity options for all ages. We recommend taking the long way and spending some time driving around the east side of the island; the drive up there is gorgeous along the water with lots of scenic stops.

Hanauma Bay

Honolulu, HI 96825

Touristy but for a reason. A protected bay with some of the best snorkeling on the island. Reservation tickets go on sale 2 days before at 7am HST and they sell out very quickly so set an alarm!

Pearl At Kalauao

98-535 Kaonohi Street, Aiea, HI 96701
