Everyone knows we have been together since high school, but you may not know we officially met in our sophomore year chemistry class! We were both new kids to the American School in London, and met each other for the first time at orientation. When Jack saw that Maria was in his chemistry class, he maintains that he picked a seat on the end with an empty seat next to him, so that Maria would have to sit next to him since she didn't know anyone else yet. When it was time to pick lab partners, we looked at each other and decided to pair up! We could have never guessed that choosing to be lab partners would lead to us getting married 12 years later :)
