Our Story

November 12, 2022 - The day Jack and I met!! We went to a Spokane Chiefs hockey game with Bryce, Morgan, and Colton. And then we went back to Jack's house for a game night and played Ticket to Ride. I was so nervous, I spilled 6 beers all in the same night, two of which I spilled on his felt poker table! Lol!

November 21, 2022 - Our first date!! Jack picked me up and took me to Trails End Brewery for the first time for pizza and beer...my kinda date!! Then he took me to Beverly's where he made reservations for dessert! We talked non-stop all night and just couldn't seem to get enough of each other!

December 18, 2022 - Our first Christmas together at my Grandparent's house with my family...Jack got introduced to the Greedy Game! (Our version of the White Elephant game)

December 25, 2022 - Christmas at Jack's parent's house. The first time I met his parents! Dale & Donna (Family friends) came over for Christmas Eve dinner. We spent Christmas morning out at his parent's, and then spent Christmas night with my family.

January 1, 2023 - New Years party at my Dad's house. Jack had planned to kiss me at midnight and tell me he loved me for the first time, but I said it first the night before this. I couldn't help it, I was head over heals for him! When you know, you know ;)

February 14, 2023 - Our first Valentine's day <3 Jack took me to Whispers for drinks, then to Tito's for appetizers, and then we went back to his house, and he made me the best steak dinner!!

May 12, 2023 - My graduation from North Idaho College.

June 13, 2023 - Jack took me up to Priest Lake on a day trip to show me around at Elkin's Resort. He grew up spending every 4th of July up at Elkin's. His family would rent one of their cabin's for a week every summer together.

July 4, 2023 - Our first Fourth of July! I couldn't wait to kiss him under the fireworks!

August 15, 2023 - We went up to Elkin's Resort with Jack's family and spent the whole day on the lake. Jack made his famous "Jack burgers" for dinner for everyone.

August 18, 2023 - Our first fair date!

September 2, 2023 - Schweitzer Beer Fest 2023 with our friends, Winter and Kyle. We had so much fun, and decided to make this an annual tradition.

October 27, 2023 - We threw a Halloween party at mine and Reilly's house. We dressed up as a "Jack & Coke" duo.

November 21, 2023 - Our one year anniversary! Jack and I did a photo shoot at Q'emiln Park in Post Falls. We decided to repeat our first date every year for our anniversary, so we went to Trails End for dinner and Beverly's for dessert. Jack made me a scrapbook and every year now, we add everything we've done for the past year to it! <3

November 23, 2023 - Thanksgiving at Matt and Holly's. (My cousin's house)

December 3, 2023 - Jack's family goes up to Lee & Addy's Tree Farm to pick out their Christmas trees every year. He took me with them and we got a tree for his house and a tree for my house.

December 5, 2023 - Jack's family decided we were all going to make each other handmade gifts for this year's Christmas. So, Jack and I spent hours in his garage making wood, tree wine holders for everyone. We cut down a tree on his parent's property, cut pieces out, drilled the holes, sanded and stained them, and then we sat in his living room every night for a couple weeks and watched the whole series of Friends (our favorite tv show) while we wood burned different designs in each one. They turned out perfect, everyone loved them, and we had so much fun making them together!

December 18, 2023 - Jack and I went to a wreath-making class at Trails End.

December 25, 2023 - Our second Christmas together! We went out to Jack's parent's house for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with Jack's sister's and their families. Each couple made their favorite cocktail for everyone. Jack and I made Whiskey sours with a merlot float. They were sooo good!! Then we spent Christmas night with my family.

January 1, 2024 - New Years 2024!!....My forever New Years kiss <3

January 26, 2024 - I made a scavenger hunt for Jack's birthday that went all around town. We started at his house, then went and got coffee at his favorite coffee shop, then to Trails End for lunch, which led to the boardwalk, and after that we got drinks at Whispers. Then we went to Greenbriar for appetizers and then to Fuki for a Hibachi dinner where I surprised him with his friends and my family meeting us there. After that, we went back to his house for dessert and presents.

February 14, 2024 - Our second Valentine's Day! <3 Jack took me to Whispers for drinks and then to Beverly's for appetizers, then back to his house where he made me a fancy, candle-lit steak dinner. <3

March 24, 2024 - We went to Seattle with my family for Jade's 30th birthday! (My sister) We took the Amtrak train there, stayed in a cute Air-B&B, and spent the weekend on Pike Street, downtown Seattle.

March 26, 2024 - Jack took me on shooting date out on his parent's property.

May 21, 2024 - Mine and Jack's one-and-a-half year anniversary!! (It was a big deal, really I just love any reason to go on dates with him!) Jack took me to The White House for dinner.

July 4, 2024 - Jack and I went all out on fireworks this year! We made a firework-launching station, fused together a firework show for everyone, and spent all night at my dad's house lighting them off.

August 13, 2024 - Jack and I drove to Roundup, Montana to pick up our new puppy, Ripp! We also picked up his sister, Akena, for Jack's parent's neighbors & friends, Dale and Donna. We also got to visit Jack's friend from college, Dom, and his family in Bozeman, MT while we were there too. We instantly became obsessed and fell in love with Ripp! He's such a good boy!

August 22, 2024 - Idaho State Fair 2024...He's my forever fair date! <3

August 31, 2024 - The annual Schweitzer Beer Fest with our friends, Winter and Kyle. This year was a good one, I dropped my phone (that Jack and I had JUST got two weeks before this) half way up the mountain on the chair lift. So, Jack and I hiked all the way down to find it. I honestly think the beer tasted better when we finally got back down to the festival lol!

September 23, 2024 - My birthday! Jack planned my whole day, starting with Breakfast at Belle's Brunch House, where he surprised me with my dad meeting us there. Then he took me on a four-wheeler ride to the top of Canfield Mountain. After that, we went to Trails End for lunch and then to Out Post Brewery for beers where Jack had our friends, Dan and Chelsea (the owners of Out Post) open it up just for my birthday! He surprised me with my family showing up to meet us there. And then he took me out to a fancy dinner at Satay Bistro where he surprised me again by reserving the private wine cellar room downstairs with mine and his families both being there. It was the most special and perfect birthday ever!

November 21, 2024 - Our two year anniversary!! We repeated our first date again <3 Jack took me to Trails End for dinner, and then we went see the lights and stand under the Christmas tree off Hwy 95 (One of my favorite things around Christmas time in Coeur d' Alene). After that, we went to Beverly's for dessert.

November 28, 2024 - Thanksgiving at Matt & Holly's!

November 29, 2024 - Jack Proposed!!! He took me on a surprise trip up to Elkin's Resort where he rented one of their cabins for the weekend. He had our friends, Winter and Kyle go up there ahead of time to set the whole thing up. Right when we got there, he took me to the bridge that he had lined with candles and roses, and then along a path (also lined with candles), that led to the beach where he had more candles and roses set up in the shape of a heart. He led me into the middle of the heart and proposed to me on the beach!! It was the most magical, pinterest-perfect proposal I could've ever imagined! Obviously, I said YES! He took me to dinner after and we spent the rest of the weekend relaxing in the cabin.
