As Lefkas Weddings’ trusted accommodation partner, we recommend booking through Rebecca, owner of Exclusive Meganisi. From cosy hotels and budget-friendly apartments to spacious villas sleeping 4–16+, Rebecca handles everything from start to finish as well as transfers. We recommend exploring, where possible, grouping up with friends and looking at villas to make the most out of what’s on offer. Travel Note

Transfers & Car Rental

We will be organising transfers in advance to and from the island. Transfers from the airport to the port take roughly 30 mins by taxi. You will then embark on a small boat crossing (15-20 mins) to the port of Vathy. Fear not, this is a smooth crossing with the island of Meganisi protected by Lefkada. Transport on the island is very limited so for those needing instant transportation / upmost flexibility of travel then a hire care is recommended. Although the island is small, shuttles will be available in groups but please bear in mind that there are only a few drivers on the island, so travelling in groups is necessary. The island is accessible by a car ferry.

Flights

Update 19/04/26: You can expect flights to start being released from end of May-June-July 2026. We recommend booking early to secure the best rates! Recommended next steps: > Set a price alerts on Skyscanner / Google Flights for w/c 17th May 2027. > Set a reminder on your phone 1st June in case you don't get email notifications to book flights. > Book as soon as you're happy too. ------- Flights are direct to Lefkada which are roughly 3 hours & 3 hours 20 mins from London & Birmingham. Birmingham have a Wed to Sun flight schedule whereas London offers more frequent flying options. Average costs per person (Wed-Sun) can be expected between £150-£300 for flights excl. luggage.

We're pleased to say that the wedding venue and accommodation on the island of Meganisi is child friendly. With our Sienna being 1 at the time of the wedding, this was very much a factor in our planning when visiting Lefkada & Meganisi.
