FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you! We want our guests to enjoy this beautiful night while looking and feeling beautiful themselves. The ceremony and reception will be held on a farm so please keep that in mind when thinking about shoes! You may also want to bring a sweater or light jacket for the cooler Kentucky evening!

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We are going to have delicious food catered from our favorite restaurants and bakeries. We will also have an open bar with beer, wine, and various liquors as well as water, sweet tea, and lemonade!

Question

What can we expect?

Answer

Expect to come with empty bellies and dancing shoes in hand! We cant wait to eat and drink with our most favorite people. We will have an amazing bluegrass band joining us for the night so we fully expect to see some dancing!

Question

What about transportation?

Answer

Sunnybrook Farm is located within Lexington city limits. Guests will have access to uber, lift, and various local taxi companies. Guests who chose to drive themselves will be able to park their car on the farm.

Question

What time should I be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:30 but we encourage guests to come 10-15 minutes early to grab a drink and enjoy the horse farm views!

Question

What should I expect from the ceremony?

Answer

Short, sweet, and simple! The ceremony will be held on the farm's quarry. Seating will be limited as we want guests to gather around the bride and groom for the ceremony. Please expect to either stand or get comfy on provided rugs and blankets.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please contact us to let us know! We want you to be safe and comfortable!
