Emily and I were introduced freshman year of college, and despite all of Emily's efforts to avoid me, we eventually became best friends! As a fellow only child, Emily is the sister I always wanted. She even convinced me to move to Kansas City for law school, but she eventually left me for the great city of Dallas... can't blame her though! However, if she hadn't persuaded me to move to KC, I may have never ended up dating Jack - so I guess it was the right choice! Emily and her husband Kyle are two of the most important people in our lives. The friendship we have with them is one of those once-in-a-lifetime kind of things—the kind you just don’t come across often, and we feel so lucky to have it. Emily is the most fun and vibrant person you will ever meet, and I cannot wait for everyone to get to meet my girl!

He makes me laugh until I cry, will party with me all night, answer my annoying phone calls and texts, and always be brutally honest with me (out of love... I think?). Dalton is one of a kind, and I’m lucky to call him a best friend and have him stand by me!

I was Cash’s first birthday present, born exactly one year after him, on his birthday! Ever since then, he’s been like a big brother to me and a constant guide throughout my life. He always let me tag along with his friends and made me feel included, all while letting me copy his every move—if Cash is going to law school, I guess I’m going too! He’s someone I’ve always trusted and looked up to without question. From diapers, to four-wheelers and “camping trips,” to everything ahead, I’ll always be grateful to have Cash and his dynamic personality in my corner!
