Please RSVP by January 4th.
Yes! Just let us know when you RSVP who will be joining you.
Semi-Formal, High-Desert Attire: Look sharp however you please. Layers encouraged for a warm day and chilly night, pointy heels discouraged for mobility on sandy grounds.
March in the desert is beautiful, but can be unpredictable! Temperatures and wind conditions vary so we recommend bringing layers. It's a good idea to check the weather in Joshua Tree closer to the date.
We recommend finding a place to stay close by. All of the Air BNB's we listed on our travel section are under 15 minutes to Sacred Sands! Having a car or carpooling is ideal, as Lyft/Uber can be less reliable in the desert.
Please park at Sacred Sands. There will be a parking attendant to show you the way. In an effort to encourage sober driving, guests are allowed to leave their car at the venue until 1 pm the next day.
Guests can start arriving at 3 pm. The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm. This will be followed by cocktails, food, and dancing! The reception ends at 10 pm, and our venue requires guests to leave by 10:30 pm.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dining will take place outdoors. After we eat, we will move the party indoors, and we'd love for you to join us on the dance floor with DJ Bobby May spinning vinyl! The bar will also move inside after dinner. To be respectful of our desert neighbors, please help us keep all the doors closed during this time when going in and out.
We'll have a taco bar from La Caguama Go Grande with Veggie, Chicken, and Carne Asada tacos. We're talking fresh tortillas, rice and beans, elote, potato taquitos, chips, and a full salsa bar. Each person will get 3-5 tacos and sides! If you have a food restriction and need to make a special request, please let us know in advance.
Yes! Lifted Spiritz will be serving up our signature cocktails! There will also be beer, wine, soda, and aguas frescas.
Each guest is welcome to get their aura captured on film! Soul Glow Aura uses a specialized camera to generate your aura in an image. You’ll place your hands on the energy sensor plates that are connected to the camera and get an interpretation of the colors that appear, their placement, and their meanings. We’ll also have disposable cameras at each table and encourage our guests to take lots of photos!
Sacred Sands is located one mile from the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Seen from the 5-acre property are desert flora and fauna, joshua trees, boulder formations and great mountain views. Outdoors, there is a ceremony circle, cocktail hour patio and bar, dining reception area, lounging areas, and a fire pit. Indoors, the dance floor is ready with concrete floors and an indoor bar. You may see jack rabbits, quail, and maybe even a bobcat or coyote while soaking in the pristine views of the Morongo Basin. Due to the abundance of wildlife and to protect the delicate ecosystem, please do not wander into non-landscaped areas of the property.
Yes! We're having a karaoke welcome party at Más o Menos from 6 pm - 9 pm on Friday, March 21st. Come through!
