We can't wait to celebrate with you!

We met in high school, I (Kaylee) had a secret crush on Jack. You see, he was a year older than me and friends with my brother. I'd visit Zach's class that he shared with Jack with silly questions just so I could see him. Little did I know...which I would find out much much later but Jack felt the same way. A few years after high school, in 2015 we officially met again in our friend Kat's basement. After a quick conversation of "I know you!" we spent the rest of the night talking and getting to know each other. That was New Years Eve going into 2016. Jack and I made our relationship official on February 14th 2016. The last 5 years have been the best of our lives. Special thanks to Zach, being the reason we met originally. Also to Kat and her basement for bringing us together.

We were on our annual family camping trip to Brown County State Park in Indiana. The Fall has always been our favorite time of year so it wasn’t shocking that Jack chose October to ask. He planned the proposal on the day where everyone puts cute (basically non camping clothes) on and we all head to take photos at these beautiful spots that overlook the entire state park. On the hill, my sister had us pose with our backs to everyone. Looking out over the scenery. While we posed that way, Jack’s parents snuck into the area and everyone lined up with their cameras. Jack spun me towards him, said some beautiful words and dropped to one knee. We celebrated with champagne and cupcakes while being swarmed by the most lady bugs I've ever seen in one area. Swarmed with lots and lots of love from both of our families as well. Jack had the main diamond from my grandmother's ring (which she gave to me before she passed in 2018) set into the ring he had made for me. Making it extra special. We have created an amazing little life together so far. Buying a house, adopting 2 cats and getting the most lovable puppy. We are more than ready to say I Do and start the rest of our lives together.
