Let's Celebrate!

Fresh out of Ranger School, Jack was convinced a night out in Auburn was the last thing he wanted on a random Thursday in October. I was settling down for the night when my roommate suggested I join her and some "Army boys from Fort Benning" on a night out. Through the steady convincing of our roommates, both of us reluctantly got dressed and gathered in the living room of Creekside #1225, my college apartment. We quickly struck up conversation and were pleasantly surprised to learn we both had a knack for politics and sports - we had so much in common! The next few weeks were spent with car rides from Columbus, GA to Auburn, AL and our weekly Thursday night dinner dates. I will never forget falling in love with him.
