Binghamton University Nature Preserve is home to an amazing array of species and is a beautiful area for study and recreation. It's setting, as part of the Binghamton University campus directly adjacent to the developed portion, makes it a welcome sight for students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community. The Binghamton University campus is also a beautiful campus to explore.
The museum has been built around the Roberson Mansion overlooking the Chenango River. The mansion was converted into a museum after the owner Roberson wanted to follow his vision of making the mansion a well-recognized museum throughout the country. Today the museum is open to general public and offers various exhibits on historic culture and art from around the world. Know more about the universe at the planetarium that is located at the site.
