Jack and Julia first crossed paths fall semester of freshman year at Georgia Tech, but there was not much interaction between the two until the fall of senior year when they were re-introduced by mutual friends at a fraternity date night. This led to an invite to a beach weekend, a first real date at La Fonda, and eventually they began dating later that fall. Both of them remained in Atlanta following their graduations, filling up their calendars with home football games, trying out different parts of Atlanta with their friends, traveling to see family and friends, and ultimately growing closer and more in love. While they were planning on moving in together in Atlanta, Julia was given a new opportunity at Anheuser Busch that required her to move to St. Louis. While Julia was living in St. Louis and Jack was still in Atlanta, it was clear that he did not want to spend any more time apart from her. Once his lease was up, he packed his car and drove to the Midwest to move in and start his new life with Julia. Since then, they have made new friends, explored their new home, and learned how to further love and support one another on this new adventure. While Jack knew for a long time that Julia was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, he officially asked her on March 20th, 2026. Jack got down on one knee at one of their favorite places, Art Hill in Forest Park, where they have spent many walks through the park or Sunday evening picnics. They are thrilled for this next chapter in their lives, and cannot wait to celebrate and bring together their friends and family on May 22nd, 2027.
