Travel Note
Philly is a beautiful city with lots of history, great food, and spectacular places to just walk around and enjoy. If you have time and want to take a trip to the city, it is roughly a 40 minute drive from the hotel. You can also head to a local train station to get into the city. (Jack's recommendation is to recreate your favorite episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, like "The Gang Cracks The Liberty Bell")
Travel Note
Just 15 minutes from the hotel, Phoenixville is a great local town with a beautiful main street that is closed to just pedestrian traffic every weekend. Enjoy great restaurants, a drink of your choice, or live music and a great walk anywhere you go in Phoenixville. (Josie's recommendation is a jagerbomb at Molly McGuire's to kickstart your trip)
Travel Note
Another great town located just 20 minutes from the hotel, Westchester boasts a strong lineup of restaurants, bars, and shops. It's a perfect place to walk around and explore for a few hours if you have the time. (Josie's recommendation is to get an appetizer and cerveza of your choice at the rooftop bar at Más Mexicali Cantina)
Travel Note
Valley Forge National Park is a great way to spend an afternoon outside in the area. Hike around the historic hills of Valley Forge Park and imagine George Washington kicking ass. You can walk, run, bike or drive through the park and explore various monuments and historical sites. (Jack and Josie's recommendation...don't do that running part)
Travel Note
Wana say you went to Valley Forge but you don't want to go to the park at all? Pull up a chair and win back whatever it cost you to get here (thanks for coming by the way). We're pretty sure this wasn't part of the Revolutionary War, but you can never be sure. (Jack's recommendation, life's too short to bet the under, always split eights, and when in doubt put it all on red)
