We're getting married!

Our love story actually started long before we met, back in the 1970s, when our dads became best friends at Wahlert Catholic High School. Life took them to opposite coasts, but they always stayed close. Fast forward to 2022, Jordan had just moved to Chicago from Iowa when her dad called his old friend to borrow a truck for the move. That one favor turned into a reunion, and a new connection (: A few texts later (with some teasing from our dads), we started talking and became modern day pen pals. After months of texting, we finally met… at one of Jack’s friend’s weddings. Bold choice, but it paid off- (a big thanks goes out to Zach and Ellie for extending an invite)! A year later, Jack moved to Chicago and we never spent a weekend apart again. And as for the proposal… let’s just say Jordan saw it coming from a mile away.
