We love walking through San Marco and exploring the historic homes and neighborhood, grabbing a bite to eat, and shopping the local businesses in the square. We'll list some of our favorite places to visit below. The best cookies ever... Their menu changes weekly but they always have their classic chocolate chip.
Looking for a unique activity? Stop by Wick and make your own candle from start to finish. The process takes about 45 minutes and you can pick up your candle later that day (takes 90 minutes to cool), so you can explore San Marco while you wait!
"Treaty Oak Park is a small urban park in the Southbank area, famous for the ancient Treaty Oak, a massive Southern live oak estimated to be 250 years old. The park, officially named Jessie Ball duPont Park, features the iconic tree, picnic areas, and walking paths, and was preserved through the efforts of local citizens who created a fictitious story about Native American treaties to protect it from development."

"Memorial Park is a beautiful, riverfront park found in the 5 Points area of Riverside. The park has a rich history, it was designed by the renowned Olmsted Brothers firm who are famous for parks like Central Park in New York."

Drive down River Road or walk if you want to take your time to see the beautiful homes and take in the river views. (This address takes you to Azalea Manor. The overlook area is at the east end of Kingsley Ave and connects you to River road. You will find free public parking there as well next to the manor).
