Leelanau is pretty rural, so rideshare options can be very limited. If you plan on heading into town for food or drinks, having a designated driver or pre-arranged transportation is a good idea.
Cell service can be pretty spotty in many places so make sure to download directions ahead of time. Don't be afraid to give a friendly Michigan "Ope!" if you bump into people in the street or a crowded restaurant.
