We suggest guests stop by Cappy’s Hillside Café on Memorial Boulevard, the long-standing family favorite watering hole, for a beer. We will drop in to say hello after the rehearsal dinner.

Please arrive to the chapel by 4:45pm to ensure that the ceremony can start on time at 5pm

Yes — trolleys will be provided to bring guests from the ceremony to the cocktail hour at The Elms, with additional service for those staying at or near our room blocks. Ubers, taxis, and parking are also available for your convenience.

For the Ceremony, guests may park in any of the Salve Regina Faculty or Student Lots. The parking lots closest to the chapel are on Leroy Street and Ochre Point Avenue Map can be found here: https://salve.edu/our-lady-mercy-chapel For the reception, there is a parking lot at the Elms

We ask that all guests abide by black tie dress code. The reception will be held on the lawn, so consider grass friendly footwear and recommended light outerwear in the event the fall breeze picks up!

Yes — following the reception we will head down the Protective Club on Thames Street. A trolley will be available for drop-off, though it is also within walking distance.

We are expecting Newport to be busy during our wedding weekend with the Boat Show in town as well (those boats wish they were coming to the wedding!) so we recommend booking hotels or rental houses early. Newport has a ton of accommodations to choose from - check out the Travel Tab for more info
