The Wedding Website of Jack Carlin and Grace Styklunas
We realize New Bedford isn't the easiest place to get to! Thank you for coming :) If from out of town and flying into Boston Logan we recommend using either a rental car or the MBTA commuter rail (Fall River/New Bedford line). If coming in Friday, you may not need a rental car as transportation is provided to the venue. If coming in Thursday, a rental car would be nice to give you the ability to explore. Specific timing and schedule details will be shared as the day approaches. We suggest out-of-town folks land in Boston no later than midday Friday. For transportation to/from the venue itself on the day of, please see the "schedule" page. We will be providing transportation shuttles to the wedding venue - check back closer to event date for details. We will also send an email. There should be Ubers / Lyfts available, but later in the night they are less reliable.

Hotel

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites New Bedford

185 Macarthur Drive, New Bedford, MA 02740

There is a room block for this hotel, space limited. Right in downtown New Bedford, this hotel is very close to the Welcome Drinks location on Friday night and some of the best spots New Bedford has to offer.

Hotel

Airbnb or VRBO

Good alternative to Fairfield if it is booked out or based on preference.

Hotel

Seaport Resort and Marina

110 Middle Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719

Across the bridge in Fairhaven but still quite close to the happenings; would require a car to get to downtown New Bedford

Flight

Boston Logan (BOS)

New Bedford is about 1 hr south via I-195 if using rental car. There is a commuter train (MBTA South Coast Rail) from Boston's South Station directly to New Bedford which is the cheapest option (~$12) but will take about an hour longer than driving. From BOS, take the free Silver Line to South Station to catch the MBTA train.

Train

MBTA South Coast Rail

Fall River/New Bedford Line from Boston's South Station (requires a quick train from Logan airport) which should cost around $12 for a ticket. https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-NewBedford/timetable From BOS, take the free Silver Line to South Station to catch the MBTA train

Train

Amtrak Northeast Regional

NYC to Providence via Amtrak! Providence is still ~55 minute drive from New Bedford though :/

Flight

T. F. Green Airport (PVD)

Smaller than BOS, with fewer flight options, but slightly closer to New Bedford (still about an hour drive but plenty of rideshare options available)

Flight

New Bedford Regional Airport

Very tiny regional airport, but very close! ~5 miles from downtown
