FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue by 2.30pm so that all guests can be seated and ready for the ceremony to begin at 3pm. If you have booked and are getting ready at accommodation in QLD please remember that Summergrove Estate is over the border and we will be running on NSW daylight savings time (1hr ahead of QLD).

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is the 1st of September. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as a "no". We need to provide our venue with a total guest count in a timely manner and hope you can understand.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Our dress code is formal attire. If you would like a specific colour palette to follow think spring garden and pastels, otherwise we would love for you to wear what makes you feel most comfortable/confident - just no white or black for the ladies please. Both our ceremony and reception spaces have AC.

Question

Is there transport to/from the venue?

Answer

All guests are responsible for getting themselves to and from the venue. Taxis and Ubers both service Summergrove Estate and we highly encourage you to pre book these if choosing this option. We also encourage carpooling where possible. Venue parking is available but is limited to 40 spaces.

Question

Will there be a wishing well?

Answer

Your presence, love and support at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, should you wish to honour us with a gift, a wishing well will be available at the reception.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity and large guests numbers, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you have a plus one they will be formally addressed on the envelope of your invitation and will appear on the RSVP. Partners and children are welcome to attend the ceremony but will have to exit the grounds as canapes begin.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Drinks will be able to be purchased from the bar during canapes. Once the reception begins our bar tab will kick in. We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!
