Transportation Schedule: 1:30 PM: Buses leave from Glidden House and Courtyard Marriott to St. Dominic Church. -There will be 2 shuttles at Marriott and 1 shuttle bus at Glidden House Post-Wedding: Buses will take guests to Van Aken District (0.4 miles from St. Dominic's). If you prefer to return to the hotels after the ceremony, please use Uber. 4:40 PM: Board shuttles to Shaker Country Club for the reception. They will be parked in the same spot as drop off. 9:00 PM: Shuttles start looping to return guests to Courtyard Marriott or Glidden House. 11:00 PM: Shuttles take guests to the after-party at TOLI or back to the hotels. We have 3 shuttles that will make one loop back to Shaker Country Club if needed. After the first loop, shuttles will run between TOLI and the hotels until 2:00 AM.

What should I do during the time between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be about an hour and a half between the ceremony and reception. You are welcome to use that time as you please! We highly recommend checking out The Van Aken District during this time. It is about a 10 minute walk / 2 minute drive away from St. Dominic Church and a 5 minute drive to Shaker Heights Country Club. There are a few bars, restaurants, and shops. We recommend grabbing a drink at Craft Collective and sitting outside if the weather permits.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

St. Dominic Church and Shaker Heights Country Club both have parking lots. If you are driving to Shaker Country Club there is complimentary valet.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, shuttles will be provided for out-of-town guests throughout the day. They will run from The Glidden House and The Courtyard Marriott to St. Dominic Church. After the ceremony, shuttles will be available to transport guests to either The Van Aken District or the room blocks between the ceremony and reception. Following that, shuttles will be provided from the designated locations to the reception venue, Shaker Heights Country Club. At the end of the night, return shuttles will be available to take guests back to the after party at TOLI (Tavern of Little Italy) and the room blocks (The Glidden House and The Courtyard Marriott).

If I am driving, how to I get to Shaker Heights Country Club?

Driving Directions to Shaker Heights Country Club: Address: 3300 Courtland Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122 Note: If using iPhone Maps, be aware that if you enter "Shaker Heights Country Club" as your destination, your GPS will lead you to the golf course, which is a few blocks away from the actual entrance to Shaker Heights Country Club (SHCC). Instead, please enter the specific address for SHCC: 3300 Courtland Blvd Shaker Heights, OH 44122. and it will lead you to the Clubhouse entrance where the parking lot is located. If you are still having issues, please follow the specific driving instructions below: Starting Point: Ensure you are on South Woodland Rd between Lee Road and Warrensville Road. If Driving East on South Woodland: -Take a right on Courtland Blvd to reach the entrance of SHCC. -You will pass Manchester Rd and Carlton Rd. If Driving West on South Woodland Rd: -Take a left on Courtland Blvd to reach the entrance of SHCC. -You will pass Montgomery Rd and Kingsley Rd.
