Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

The VMFA is one of our favorite places to go in Richmond. Except for special exhibits, the museum is free to guests. Enjoy the lawns or grab a drink or appetizer on the 3rd floor at Amuse.

Fan District

The Fan district is our favorite part of Richmond and where we call home. Take a walk through the neighborhood and enjoy the row houses or stop by any of the great restaurants or shops we have to offer. The Fan backs into Carytown, which we highly recommend visiting.

Carytown

Great area with tons of local shops and restaurants. Grab lunch, a drink at Can Can brasserie, or enjoy some shopping.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Upper Shirley Vineyards

Brown's Island

Enjoy a walk around Brown's Island. If you are staying downtown, this is walkable.

Texas Beach

If you enjoy being outdoors and don't mind a little hiking, Texas beach is a great place to check out. Walk the trails and enjoy the coves that open up onto the James River. Contact us or do a little research before your trip if you plan to visit Texas Beach.
