We met in biology class our freshman year of high school. I thought Jack was cute right away and nursed a silent crush on him until the summer before our senior year, when our apparent mutual feelings were finally brought to light. I overcame some of my crippling anxiety and let myself fall for Jack, meeting him before 9th period to exchange notes. Jack loves good music, lets me dress him up like a little mannequin, and, for the most part, we put up with each other's quirks. Today, we live a new phase of life together, rich in life with the ocean in earshot and a little home with two little kitties to come back to each day.

The first time I met Colette was freshman year of high school in biology class when we were put into the same group together. We finally started dating our senior year. I would spend my whole study hall period writing her notes and making her art. From the beginning Colette and I have always had so much fun together. Whether that’s singing made up songs together, having dance parties, or speaking made up languages. Colette and I love going to concerts together, going to the beach, and exploring our new home of Wilmington. We are parents of two kitties and hope to adopt more as time goes on.
