Jack and I met three years ago on the dating app Bumble. We chatted for a few days and eventually decided to go on a date. The date was in the woods, in the middle of nowhere, with a giant waterfall and a stranger I met on the internet (sketchy). Things went well, except for the ridiculous khaki joggers he decided to wear (I threw them away). We spoke a little bit more, and it was obvious we had a very natural connection. However, at this time, Jack lived in West Chester, PA, and I lived in Maryland, which is about 2 hours apart. We talked for a few more weeks, but I wasn't interested in a long-distance relationship...so I ghosted him :) Not once but four times. Every single time he gave me the same spiel about how we would be great together and how he would treat me right, etc. So finally, after ghost number four I decided to give it a shot...and it was the best decision I've ever made. He is the kindest, most caring, and loving man I have ever met. He supports me in every decision I make and is always there to offer encouragement even when I doubt myself. He embraces my 4-legged beasts and is the best father to little Caio. We complement each other in more ways than one, and nearly three years later and we are still stronger than ever!
