Yes! A free shuttle will run from the Aloft Hotel, Durham Marriott City Center, and The Durham Hotel to the Cookery. The first loop will leave at 4:15 from the Aloft, and continue to make runs until the ceremony starts. Expect the last pickup time to be at ~4:40. The shuttle will then be available to take guests back to those hotels at the end of the reception. It will also take people to the after party at Surf Club. You can also drive or Lyft / Uber to the Cookery. We will have valet parking at the venue.
Semi-Casual on Friday, and Semi-Formal Saturday. More details on our schedule page: https://www.zola.com/wedding/jackandchrissy/event
We love your children and toddlers so much (seriously...so much). However, we are hoping to have a formal, adults only wedding, which means that if you are traveling in from out of town and want to enjoy Durham with your family, we ask that you arrange for childcare on Saturday night. If, once May comes around, you have given birth very recently, we do understand that your infant will need to come with you to the wedding, and there is a private space at the Cookery for new mothers if that's your preference. Otherwise, we hope that new parents take this opportunity for a Saturday night out or weekend away!
The Cookery offers complimentary valet parking, which will begin at 4 pm and run until all cars are gone! There is no designated lot.
Please visit the "Travel" page of this website for our wedding hotel blocks!
If your invitation indicates "and Guest," then you are welcome to bring a date! Otherwise, we ask that you attend on your own.
The ceremony begins at 5 pm. People can begin seating themselves as early as 4:30.
We will have a courtesy bus shuttle circulating from our wedding hotels to the Cookery. Please let our planners know if you need to head back to your hotel during the wedding!
Plan A: outside. Plan B if it rains: we'll move the ceremony inside.
Please plan to RSVP by April 6, 2023. We will have an RSVP link on this website in 2023!
