Question

Theming

Answer

This will be a magical evening of medieval fantasy hosted on a beautiful riverside property in Marmora Ontario. The early fall season will be the perfect compliment to the renaissance fair aesthetic we have in store for our guests. Lush gardens, music, lights and decorations will all come together for one unforgettable night! There is no dress code and guests are welcome to come in normal wedding attire, however if you want to join in the renaissance fair and fantasy theming all are welcome to do so! We will also provide some fun decorations for guests at the venue for any who wish to join in the fun. For guests who are interested in the wedding's theming for their attire, we thought to save some of the useful resources we found after doing our own research into fun medieval and fantasy outfits. We've put together a google doc with links to places with useful ideas, copy-paste the link below to check it out: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Qi4kbQqi34LGgbdAiH53xSV3kvpxYbvjhP33hv5nLpY/edit?usp=sharing

Question

Where to park

Answer

As this is a wedding hosted on private property there is limited space in the driveway. We ask that guests only drop off as needed in front of the house where there is a turnaround to the right of the fork in the road before the property, afterwards there is public parking a short walk away. Option 1 — Primary Parking (Recommended) Guest parking is available at Legion Park – Ball Diamond (at the corner of Highway 7 & Cameron Street) From the parking area, guests can follow the sidewalk West to the venue at Crowe Valley Court. The walk is approximately 3-5 minutes. Please allow a few extra minutes for parking and walking before the ceremony begins. Option 2 — Overflow Parking Should the lot reach capacity, overflow parking is available along Norwood Road. To access Norwood Road, turn south onto Roscoe Street from Highway 7. Make a left turn from Roscoe Street onto Norwood Road which reaches back towards Crowe Valley Court. Please park responsibly and do not block any driveways, entrances, gates, or road access points. Guests parked on Norwood Road can follow the short walking path at the end of the street to the venue on Crowe Valley Court. Please allow 3-5 minutes for parking and walking before the ceremony begins.

Answer

This is an outdoor wedding, once guests arrive please enter the venue from the right side next to the house. This wedding is graciously being hosted by my cousin Chelsea, we ask that guests please do not enter the house itself. All accommodations including washrooms, seating, tenting and food will be in the property's yard.

Question

Guest Photos

Answer

During the ceremony, we kindly ask that guests enjoy this moment unplugged. Please silence your phones and keep them tucked away until after the signing of the marriage certificate. This allows our photographers to capture the ceremony without distractions and ensures everyone can be fully present as we exchange our vows. Once the ceremony is complete, we encourage you to take as many photos as you'd like and help us capture the celebration from every perspective. A QR code will be available at the wedding where you can easily upload and share your favourite photos with us.
