We’re Getting Married!

Joe and Kailee Stiles had told Jack about a girl named Chelsey that they wanted to set him up with. After showing Jack a picture of her in hunting gear holding up two dead partridge, Jack decided he wanted to meet this girl. Kailee had told Chelsey about a guy named Jack that her and Joe wanted to set her up with. Chelsey’s response was, “Nope, it never works out well for me. I don’t want to deal with any more guys. I’m just not interested in being set up.” A bit later in the future, Chelsey’s friend, Kailee, wanted her to go to a concert with her, but Chelsey had to work that Saturday. Due to a schedule switch, she had two weekends off in a row, but had to work the following weekend of the concert. Chelsey told Kailee she didn’t want to ask her colleague to work three weekends in a row. A few days later that colleage called Chelsey and asked her to switch another weekend, so she could go to a bachelorette party, therefore, magically giving Chelsey that third weekend off in a row! She bought a concert ticket. Kailee surprised her with, “Yay! I’m excited! Our friend, Jack, that I want you to meet is going!” Chelsey met up with Kailee, Joe, and Jack the day of the concert at zales jewelry store. Kailee and Joe had an appointment there. There they introduced Chelsey and Jack. All four of them went to their friend Garrett’s house and played bean bags all evening while having a few drinks. A large group of all of their friends from the county met up at the Kenney Chesney concert that night. After the concert, they all head back to Garrett’s for the night. While everyone else eventually fell asleep, Jack and Chelsey stayed up all night talking on the couch. Before they knew it, it was 5am and they were hungry. They decided to sneak out after staying up all night while everyone was sleeping. They went to dysarts for breakfast. After having great conversations they decided to exchange numbers. Eventually, they made their relationship official...

********************************** On July 31, 2016, Jack, Chelsey, and their two friends (Joe and Kailee Stiles) decided to take a small hike through the woods on a marked path, which led them to a beautiful river with a rock waterfall! It was here, while sitting in the waterfall, that Jack asked Chelsey to be his girlfriend, and she said yes! Two years later on July 31, 2018, Jack decided he wanted to take another hike to the same waterfall on their 2-year anniversary of dating. When they got to the waterfall, Chelsey started digging through her bag to get the wine and cups, thinking they could walk up the rocks and celebrate at the top with a cup of wine! While she was digging through her bag, Jack asked, "Chelsey?" She was too busy digging through her bag to look up, but responded, "What?" Jack repeated, "Chelsey?" Again, Chelsey responded, "What?" thinking Jack had not heard her. When Jack repeated, "Chelsey?" again for the third time she said, "Hold on a min. I'm going to get the wine." She pulled out the wine and finally looked up. Jack was down on one knee with a little box in his hand. He quickly blurted out, "Will you marry me?" Chelsey was caught off guard, and it took a minute for her to comprehend what was happening. She looked at the most beautiful ring she had ever seen sitting in the tiny box! It had a vintage design with a big clear, sparkling diamond and was just her taste! Chelsey thought, "I knew I was going to marry him the day he asked me to be his girlfriend!" She looked at Jack and responded, "Yes!" They kissed and she put on the ring. Afterwards, Jack told Chelsey he skipped his speech and just blurted out, "Will you marry me?" because he was so nervous he couldn't keep the surprise any longer nor take the anticipation of her response. He apologized for not reciting his romantic speech at the top of the waterfall as he had planned! This just made Chelsey laugh! She thought the blurting of his question and his nervousness was cute!
