While we wished we could extend invitations to all for our wedding, we had constraints on our guest count. However, we still wanted to celebrate with friends. So, on Sept. 22 from 6-8pm, in the Fallbrook LDS church building (621 South Stage Coach Lane,) we're hosting an open house. Join us for an evening of live music by Joey and the Jammers, questionable cuisine, and a relaxed get-together where we can enjoy each other's company. The recommended dress code is casual, with one notable exception: the Bride. She is expected to wear a dress, as her inclination might otherwise lead her to choose a more casual ensemble like a t-shirt and sweatpants. While the latter is endearing, there are certain boundaries that must be upheld.
The suggested dress code is semi-formal. So, we kindly ask that you dress in a manner reminiscent of your parents (or grandparents) when they attended church. Of course, we will welcome everyone regardless of attire; it's just out of respect for the occasion. If you wish to join us in celebration, incorporate the color purple into your regalia. The men of the wedding party are wearing these purple socks (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VXM11J2.) Or, you can opt for a purple handmade woven bracelet (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN7TTZR5.)
Unfortunately, no. Condor's Nest Ranch does not have parking and you cannot park on the street near the venue. We are providing a shuttle from the Pala Casino Hotel (11154 Highway 76, Pala, CA.) The first shuttle is at 3:40 and the next is at 4:15. Please check the email that we sent for which shuttle pickup time you were assigned. The shuttle run cannot accommodate everyone in a single trip. If you find yourself running late and will miss the shuttle, please don't hesitate to contact Jen, our coordinator or David, the property manager, as soon as you realize. (The email has their phone numbers.) While they may be able to assist, it's a good idea to have Uber or Lyft on standby, as there is no available parking at the venue or on adjacent streets. The venue address is: 37537 Magee Road, Pala, CA.
We will have 3 return shuttles: 9:00 (early bird,) 10:00, and 10:30.
It is a 15-20 minute ride up the mountain on a small two-lane road.
Knowing the groom's friends, there absolutely had to be. Our wedding will feature an open bar, which will be available from 5:45pm until 9:45pm; the last call for drinks will be at 9:30pm. Please be on your best wedding behavior or we will sick our wedding bouncers on you. ;)
As you arrive at the venue, we are thrilled to share that a delightful array of refreshments awaits you, featuring lemonade, sun tea, water, and popcorn—all generously provided for your enjoyment. Additionally, don't miss the opportunity to interact with the charming ranch animals; the venue has thoughtfully set aside 10 pounds of food for you to share with them. In addition, there will lawn games and areas of the venue to which you can explore. There are a few place that will be marked off limits. Please respect those signs.
Yes, but only next to the firetruck in the designated smoking area. This area is highly susceptible to wild fires and Condor's Nest Ranch has asked us not to have any open flames in any other location.
