Muir Beach Overlook
A short drive or 25 Minute Walk from the Pelican Inn you can enjoy this a scenic overlook.
Dipsea Trail Hike (to Stinson Beach)
This hike is one of our favorites. After driving and parking at Stinson Beach, you can follow a portion of the Dipsea Trail (7.5 mile loop) and enjoy beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean, streams, and waterfalls.
Muir Woods Visitor Center
Muir Woods National Monument is part of California’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area, north of San Francisco. It’s known for its towering old-growth redwood trees.
Golden Gate Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge makes for a great afternoon walk, or rent bikes and go for a ride. If it is sunny out, you can also get a great view of it from Baker Beach.
Muir Beach
Muir Beach is a quiet cove, beach and lagoon favored by locals. A 10 minute walk away from The Pelican Inn.
