We're Getting Married!

We first met in AP Biology and became best friends almost immediately. Back then, our friend group did everything together, but somewhere between study sessions, football games, and late-night drives, we started finding reasons to spend time together, just the two of us. We tried to keep it low-key at first so we wouldn’t shake things up with our friends, but that didn’t last very long. On October 4, 2019, Jack asked Bretta to be his girlfriend and his homecoming date all in the same night. Even though we graduated a year apart, we both ended up at the University of Georgia. Some of our favorite memories were made in Athens, whether we were cheering on the Dawgs, trying new restaurants, or just enjoying a simple date night together. Fast forward to February 2025, Jack got down on one knee and asked Bretta to marry him. Of course, she said yes! Today, we live in Buford, Georgia, with our two cats and Bretta’s sister, Callie. Looking back, it’s hard to believe it all started in a high school biology class. From classmates to best friends to soon-to-be husband and wife, we’re so excited to celebrate with the people we love and start this next chapter together!
