The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA
We are staying at a great local hotel called The Porches Inn, where we also have a block of rooms for guests. Do not book online! If you're interested in staying here, call them (413 664 0400) or email (either mel.karakaya@porches.com or sunny.devio-militello@porches.com) and ask to book a room under the Sheridan / Lawson wedding block the weekend of 10/28/23. When you call, I recommend asking to speak directly to Sunny or Mel, they are the most helpful! If they aren't in when you call, just send them an email requesting a room under our block. It’s a 2 night minimum. You'll need to pay the first night up front rest when you arrive. All of the rooms are a little different so you might want to ask them what kind of suites they have left in the block! There will be transportation to and from the wedding venue and The Porches

Hotel Downstreet
If you don’t want to stay at The Porches, we also have a block at another hotel called Hotel Downstreet. To book here, give them a call (413 663-6500) and ask to book a room in the Sheridan / Lawson block. There’s also a 2-night minimum here with a fixed rate of $200/night. This hotel is about an 8 minute walk from The Porches, where we will provide transportation to the venue
Travel Note
Airport Information
Driving time from Boston or New York City is about three hours; from Albany, NY, about one hour; and about two hours from Bradley International Airport outside of Hartford, CT. Transportation Services There are a number of car services that offer transportation from the Albany Airport and Rensselaer train station. Fees generally range from $80 to $200. Renting a car is also an option from any of these locations.

General Travel Information
October is near peak foliage in New England which while beautiful, also brings crowds. Bookings might fill up quickly. Because of this, we recommend getting on it as soon as possible if you plan on coming! Thanks so much, can't wait to celebrate with you. Lastly, not sure what the uber situation will be like so I would not recommend relying on them for your transportation.
