About the Venue
Alexandra here. We'll be getting married at my parent's home in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a special place, not just because it has been in the Fortune family for three generations, but because it holds so many special memories for me and Jack.
For those who don't know, I came to NC from NYC at the beginning of COVID and ended up living in "The Chicken Coop" for six months. Jack and I had just reconnected and during this time he visited from Denver. We got to spend a month together and solidified our long-distance relationship when Jack asked me to be his girlfriend in the kitchen of the Coop.
When we both eventually moved back to Greensboro permanently, we lived together for the first time in The Chicken Coop. Yes, we paid rent.
We're also excited to get married here because my Aunt Adelaide and Uncle Anthony were married in the same garden in 1983. See below for the precious wedding announcement written by my grandmother's friend, Martha Long.
