We would love to see your coastal cowboy looks! Cowboy hats are highly encouraged. For men, a beachy button up and pants. For women, beachy dresses long or short!

The average temperature for the Outer Banks in July is mid 80's during the day and low 70's in the evenings.

where should I stay?

Answer

We encourage our guests to make a vacation out of this destination. There are many rental house companies and Airbnbs. The hotel with room blocks will be the Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks.

How should I get there?

Answer

The nearest airport to fly in to is Norfolk, VA (ORF). It is around a 1 hour drive to the venue. There are rental cars and ride shares available at the airport.

The reception and cocktail hour will be held at Duck Woods Country Club. 50 S Dogwood Trail, Southern Shores NC 27949

The wedding and reception will be indoors and the cocktail hour will be outdoors.

how close is the church to the reception and is there transportation?

Answer

The church is 15 minutes away from the reception. There will be a trolly that will be taking groups of people to and from the church to and from the reception.
