Our favorite spot at Krog St Market is Fred's Meat & Bread, we order specifically the 'Shroom Shire Cheesesteak. Deliciously greasy and shroomy, if you're looking for an itis-inducing experience, it pairs well with garlic fries. There's also tons of other restaurants here to peruse. Gu's dumplings also is really good! Just outside you can take a nice stroll on the ATL Beltline. Ponce City Market is only a 30 minute walk away.
One of Jack and Sally's favorite date places back when they were in college. And it mostly was because students got discounted rates and a free ride there. Definitely a must if you've never been to Atlanta before. While you're here also go across Centennial park to the World of Coca-Cola. Be sure to try the Beverly at the end :)
Come here for a fancy sushi meal. While there are regular dining options with a menu and all, we'd recommend you come and make a reservation for their omakase specials! The restaurant has different sushi chefs come in, and every few weeks/months, the menu or chef changes. We especially enjoyed our omakase course by Chef Jackie. Share a sake pairing between two people for an even fancier experience! For more moderate sushi places, we (Sally mostly) enjoys going to Circle Sushi & Sushi Mito.
Come for some authentic Mexican food until 2AM. A favorite spot for Sally & Jack for many years. Jack enjoys getting the burritos, and Sally enjoys getting lengua tacos.
Come here for KBBQ, a frequent meal of choice for Sally & Jack. Other KBBQ restaurants we recommend include: KBBQ Factory & EM Bop.
Come here for super decadent cakes and pastries. Jack's favorite cake is red velvet and Sally's is black & white.
