We're Getting Married!

We met in the beginning of our sophomore year in college at Wisconsin Lutheran College. We were both moving into our apartments during our soccer preseasons when we found ourselves in the same elevator, moving into the same apartment hall, right next door to each other. Neither of us expected our next door neighbor to be the person who would change our lives forever. With a little help from my (Lydia's) roommate, Elizabeth, we started talking. We discovered our mutual interest in soccer and our long term goals in life. As September 2023 rolled in, we began dating, and it felt like everything fell into place. Every moment we spent together solidified what we both knew deep down: this was it. From late-night study sessions to cheering each other on at games, our bond deepened, and we became each other’s biggest supporters. Fast forward to September 2024—an ordinary day turned into the best day of our lives. Jack surprised me with a beautiful proposal at our favorite park, Mill Pond Park, in Menomonee Falls. We’re both so excited for the future ahead, ready to serve our Savior in whatever way he has planned for us!
