On a sneaky Tuesday night in November 2024, we locked eyes for the first time at our friend Gus' apartment for a game night. Jack knew that Gus was trying to set him up with this Illinois girl, but Greta (Illinois girl) had no idea this game night was actually a set up. After a successful night of Tabboo and Rummikub, Jack got her number and the rest is history! We started falling for each other quickly. Our communities embraced us as a couple and we fell in love with each other's families. Talking about our future and marriage felt natural and before Greta knew it, Jack was before her on one knee with a gorgeous, sparkling ring. An easier "yes" was never said. We could not be more thankful for our people that have fiercely supported us along this journey of becoming husband and wife. Above all, we're thankful for God's sweet providence.
