Jack and Georgia met their freshman year of college, at Baylor University. They quickly hit it off, but it took Jack three months to finally gain the courage to ask Georgia out. Their first date was a hike through Cameron Park, one of their favorite spots in Waco.
It was a rainy morning when Jack proposed to Georgia after a long four years of dating. To stick to their weekly tradition of a Saturday morning walk, Jack and Georgia grabbed a cup of coffee and headed to meet Jack’s younger brother, Luke, at White Rock Lake. Despite the questionable weather they made it around the lake to one of their favorite spots by the water, a bench over looking the lake and the Dallas skyline. He expressed his love and admiration for Georgia, and finally got on a knee and asked her to marry him. Afterward, Georgia was surprised to find both her and Jack’s family flew to Dallas, Texas, to celebrate the long awaited day. Later that evening Jack surprised Georgia (again!) with an engagement party, with their close friends and families.
