We have a small room block at Casa di Andrea, and we recommend Hotel Amici and Hotel Margherita for any of our guests. Please see the Travel Logistics document on our Travel & Accommodation page for more information about these hotel options. AirBnB is also a great option. We recommend booking all lodging well in advance (think Christmas-time 2025).
Monterosso al Mare is largely pedestrian-only and very walkable. As such, we will not be providing transportation to or from the church or venue. If your lodging is in a neighboring town, we strongly recommend using the train to commute in/out of Monterosso on the wedding day, as this will be your quickest and most reliable option. Please be aware, there are no Ubers available in these villages! There are typically a few taxis available in each town to help transport luggage from the train station if needed, but expect to carry luggage up some amount of stairs at some point. If you require mobility assistance, please let either of us know and we can help coordinate.
Casual Cocktail (More details about the official plan to come, but we're thinking we'll be outside. As such, keep it easy, flowy, and no need for any jackets!)
Garden Party-Formal We just want everyone to feel their best! If you want some inspiration, we suggest men wear a lightweight suit or sport coat and women happy, colorful, and flowy dresses (mid-or full-length). June in Italy will likely be hot and the reception will be on grass at the vineyard -- so look good, but stay comfortable! :) ALSO, please (please) wear or bring an extra set of shoes that you feel comfortable walking downhill on a relatively steep stone path after the reception.
Please let us know if you have specific dietary needs or requests for the weekend. We will be working with the owner of Buranco (the chef) closer to the wedding date to set the menu and will ensure these are communicated.
Bring yourself, no gifts please!
