The beginning of our forever!

Our story began in the most unexpected place work. I know right! Josias was working at a different location but decided to transfer to mine for a better opportunity and little did we know, something even better was waiting for both of us. At first, Josias was incredibly shy and kept to himself. Luckily, I’m the complete opposite, so I made it my mission to get him talking. What started as simple conversations between coworkers quickly turned into something more. It was obvious we liked each other, even though neither of us said it out loud. I’d find little reasons to stand near him just to get his attention, and he’d always offer to help me with work. Before long, those “helping hands” turned into ride-alongs, and those moments became our favorite part of the day. Eventually, Josias built up the courage to ask for my number and of course, I gave it to him. From there, we grew closer, texting all the time and learning more about each other every day. In October, he finally asked me to hang out after work. We went mini golfing and then sat by the beach just talking. From that moment on, we were inseparable. A couple of months later, I realized I didn’t want to spend another day without making things official. So, on January 14, 2021, I took matters into my own hands and told him, “Since you haven’t asked me, I’m just going to say it, I’m your girlfriend now and we’re officially dating.” He laughed and smile and didn’t argue one bit. So yes, I’m the reason we started dating! Since then, we’ve built a beautiful life together, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Five years later, Josias told me we were going to a fancy party on Palm Beach Island and that I needed to dress up. Knowing me, I had a million questions but he had every answer ready. He drove us to Bradley Park, and I was a little confused since it didn’t look like a party location. He told me we were meeting people there first, so I went along with it. As we walked through the park, talking he suddenly pulled my hand back. When I turned around, there he was down on one knee. I instantly burst into tears of joy. It felt like time slowed down, like a scene straight out of a movie. To make it even more special, he had a photographer there capturing every moment. It’s a day I’ll replay in my heart forever. And now, here we are just a few months away from becoming Mr. and Mrs. Saint Jean, and starting the next chapter of our forever together.
