Bride
My bride! My love! It was just over a year ago that I realized you were the one for me. Having you in my life has been the most wonder-filled adventure yet. My love for you has expanded my heart more than I ever thought possible. Thank you for being willing to run this race alongside of me. For saying yes it my craziest idea yet, We’re. Getting. Married. There is a deep expectation for the future, our wedding yes, but for the days, weeks, and years after. The highs, lows, kids and countries. I am ready to live my life with you.
Groom
My sweet love, I have felt so much peace about Jace even before we started dating. Jace and I developed a really sweet friendship during the first few weeks we knew each other and I loved being around him and seeing him lead 18-20 year olds. I will forever be impressed by this man— he loves learning and gaining information. I am so thankful to learn from him, walk alongside him, and soon be his family. I am so excited for our future and wherever the Lord leads us— and also for the role and support you will have in our marriage.
Matron of Honor
Marisa and I became friends the summer before we started high school. We played volleyball together for years and soon we were always together on many other teams. We lived in different California beach towns after graduation, but continued our long distance friendship with visits and trips home. In 2015, we both left on the same day for separate 11 month adventures across the world in pursuit of following Jesus. We since have continued to live in separate cities, but still always pick up right where we left off.
Best Man
Of all of the brothers I have had, Tanner is my only but by far my favorite. Growing up we had some rough patches, he once bit me so hard I bled. Nevertheless now that we are adults he has become one of my closest friends, a man of God who’s opinion I highly value, and all around hard worker. Seriously, he works and works and works, not on one project but a hundred projects. He is currently attending school in Illinois, which is too far away from me.
Bridesmaid
Sofia and I met in 2011 when we both moved to Ventura, California. I became close friends with not only Sofia, but her two sisters and family. When her sisters moved out of state, our friendship grew as we continued to be involved in our church and worked at a local bbq restaurant together. We would often be found on adventures surrounding our favorite meals, good coffee, or boating with my parents or in Mammoth to play in the snow.
Groomsman
My dad?! My dad, brother and both of my sisters are in my wedding?! What? (Sorry mom). I look up to my dad. There is not a man in my life that has shown me the father heart of God more then my own father. Praise Jesus for that blessing. My dad is slow to anger, rich in wisdom, and consistently told me he was proud of me. He is an entrepreneur, avid hobbiest (all kinds), and he loves his family. He recently broke his back, but the Lord moved in his life and we all got to witness the faithfulness of Jesus.
Bridesmaid
Noelle is my big sissy and I am so thankful to have her in my life. We never lived under the same roof which always made time together seem so special! After returning to Southern California in 2012, I saw Noelle more often than ever before. I am so thankful for the ways she has supported me as I pursued my dreams and hard things like going on the World Race!
Groomsman
Nathan Jones is a go-to guy. I know I am able to go to him with anything, and he is ready to help. We’ve been friends since 7th grade. I love this man. I’ve been able to watch him be a friend, an athlete, a leader, a coach, and now a husband. This guy is the real deal and I can see such passion in his heart for his work, wife, and friends. He loves people well! Nathan is currently working for a global Non-profit base in Idaho, spending the good news of the impact of the Gospel to the world.
Bridesmaid
Danika Langley, my soon to be sister-in-law! Danika and I communicated for many months before we met in person while Jace and I were overseas. We didn’t meet until August of 2018 and instantly became friends. I’m so thankful for the ways she is so inviting and caring. The past year of living in the same town, leading young life together, and being friends has been so refreshing to me. So thankful for her friendship and gaining her as a sister so I can carry that the rest of my life!
Groomsman
David is a mentor turned friend turned brother. I love this man as if he were my big brother. This man has written in my life time and time again, truths about God and myself. I have seen him stay so faithful to the Lord through the ups and downs of life. He is a powerful man of God, motivated by all the souls that don’t know the love of Jesus. Here’s to more adventures and conquering the world for Jesus.
Bridesmaid
Paige Langley— also another sister I gain from marrying Jace! Paige was the first sibling I met when I first came to Idaho. I love Paige’s heart for others, and the way she deeply cares for others. I love Paige’s honesty, my first trip to Idaho late at night I asked her to tell me some things Jace has done when he was younger— good or bad. She was so honest it was refreshing, but definitely didn’t scare me away. So excited to gain another sister!
Groomsman
Im the kind of person that needs people in my life to tell me, “No, that’s a bad idea”. Riley is not one of those people. Riley is my partner in crime. If that crime is staying out too late, climbing too high or driving too far. Although through all the shenanigans he doesn’t compromise his character or let me compromise mine. He is full of joy, and a love for life. He works hard so that he can take his sweet wife where the water’s warm. I’ve also known Riley since 7th grade, and I cherish his friendship.
Groomsman
I never got the chance to meet Edward. Although I have heard stories and seen the family videos. I’ve learned about the man he was from his sister, his mother, and in the eyes of his daughter. If he was here I can tell you for sure he would be standing with/towering over me on my wedding day. Thank for for the freedom you fought for and the life you brought into this world. His daughter is my first niece and a junior bridesmaid. SPC US Army Afghanistan (1990-2012) awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
Junior Bridesmaid
Emma, my sweet niece and beautiful reminder of my late brother. I adore that she has called me “RaRa” since she was a baby unable to pronounce Laura. Emma has captured my heart, made me an auntie for the first and only time, and convinced me to play more games of crazy eights, go fish, and uno than I thought was possible! I’ve loved watching her grow up, FaceTime when I’ve been far away, and see her make the same facial expressions my brother did!
Flower Girl
My cousin Ruth’s youngest daughter. She’s spicy, fiery, adorable and so full of life. She’s always willing to steal a drink of your Starbucks and is absolutely in love with horses! I cannot wait for this little one to walk the aisle before me and I’m so excited to see the way she does it!
Ring Bearer
Abner is the son of my best friend growing up, Micah and her husband TJ. During the three years I was working with the World Race, I was overseas often, but would have short amounts of time back in the States. I missed so many weddings my first year (Including Micah & TJ’s) and was so thankful when I got to be apart of their gender reveal when they were pregnant with Abner. He is such a sweet boy, smiley and giggly, and now a great big brother. I’m so excited for him to complete our curly haired ring bearer and flower girl combo!
