Jace & I met in the fall of 2012. We got to know each other, but grew apart after high school. Fast forward to Sept 2017- I was out for my birthday, & since Jace & I have mutual friends, he was with. We secretly had our eyes on each other that night. Two weeks later at Oktoberfest, after a few too many drinks, I texted Jace, insisting we set up our friends on a date, & we go as wingmen. He agreed! One of my friends rescued kittens & Jace agreed to bring them with to La Crosse for me & my roommate. The other friends backed out of the date, but Jace still had to bring the cats, so we agreed to still go. We went to Carlos O Kelly’s, the Bluffs & watched White Chicks. Two years later, we bought our dream home together. Shortly after, we got Gem, our sweet pup. In Sept 2020, Jace planned a trip to the UP. On my birthday, Jace, Gem & I spent the day at waterfalls. The next stop was hiking at the Porcupine Mountains, where Jace got down on one knee & gave me the best birthday present!
