FAQs

Have questions? Hopefully we have some answers!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st, 2024!

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Our family is so important to us and we would love to share our day with everyone; however, the reception is catered to adults and is taking place at an historic venue with limited capacity. Due to the limited space and lack of censorship, we are unable to accommodate children.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As we mentioned above, we are celebrating at an historic venue that has limited capacity. We’d love to hang out with your +1 another time!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is a dirt lot next to the Train Depot that is accessible via Ruby Street. Signs will be displayed on roadways near the Depot to direct you to the lot. Depending on how full it is, you may have to walk to access the Train Depot (keep that in mind when selecting shoes for the event). There should be plenty of parking, but we do recommend carpooling or using any of the rideshare options available in Boise (Uber, Lyft, Taxi), especially if you plan on imbibing!

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We will have a taco bar/buffet for the evening meal (it is Taco Tuesday, after all!). The protein options will be beef, chicken, and beans. The taco bar will have vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free items, but we cannot guarantee there will not be cross-contamination. There will be an open bar (while supplies last) and we will be serving donuts for dessert. :)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear what makes you feel fancy and confident! There is no specific dress code but we recommend semi-formal. The reception will take place indoors, but evenings in October can be chilly so it might be worth bringing a sweater/jacket. Also, the parking lot is made of dirt and rocks so you may want to consider that when selecting footwear.

Question

I'm traveling from out of town; what are the best options?

Answer

If you are flying from out of state, Boise has its own airport. BOI is approximately 15 minutes away from downtown Boise as well as the reception venue. We have not blocked out rooms at this time as many of our out of town guests are staying with friends/family, but there are several hotels near the airport, venue, and downtown that are within short driving distance of each other. If you need a hotel room, we recommend booking early as many of the hotels fill up quickly due to the Boise State football games.
