Best Man
Oh boy, where do I begin. Cody and I go back to high school. He was the kid with a cool truck and we met through a mutual friend (thanks Kyler). Eventually we started hanging out and never stopped. He prefers long walks on the beach and apple martinis are his go to drink. Professional photographer assistant, vehicle demolition expert and now full time dad. Of all my close calls of death, all were with him. I have him to thank for my expensive interests and hobbies. From being hooligans during the day, to late night photo shoots of his trucks, we've had some crazy adventures i'll remember for the rest of my life. He's always been there for me to bounce my dumb questions, crazy ideas and my rare genius ones. For that and many more reasons I am honored to have him as my best man.
Maid of Honor
In our 16 years of friendship, one can only imagine the significant amount of embarrassing stories, moments, and nicknames that have accumulated. Lucky for me, Amanda is at the core of the most embarrassing with a picture or story to prove it. She has been there for all the junior high city hall dances, moving to college, graduating from nursing school, and beginning our crazy careers. I have been so incredibly lucky to have Amanda in my life for so long, and this day would be incomplete without her as my Maid of Honor.
Groomsman
I first met John while working at Ralph’s grocery store after high school. Shortly after I started, he quit to peruse a new career in HVAC. I have to thank him for getting me into the HVAC trade as well as my first job with his company. While we have probably the most weird relationship you’ve ever seen, he’s stayed one of my best friends since. I often left the house with him on the phone and came back home, still talking. Although if anyone knows him, he did most of the talking. I am not sure where my life would have ended up if i didn't meet this surfer/redneck from San Pedro. You could say it’s a bromance, but it might be more than that (and Jac's trying not to be jealous). John was a no brainier when thinking about my wedding party and I’m stoked to have him as my groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Alexandra, the “honorary stroebel” put in many hours at my house growing up. Always helping me do my chores so I could get “ungrounded”, or sleeping over for quite literally weeks at a time in the summer. As much time as we spent together, it was never enough. Even when life took us to different places, a single conversation with her, and I was home. Alexandra is always down for whatever crazy adventure we get ourselves into, which is why she is the perfect person to have with me, as Daniel and I enter our own adventure as Husband and Wife.
Groomsman
Kyler Lynn Verplank. You read that right, Lynn is a girls name. Kyler is my oldest friend out of this bunch. We met in high school from a mutual friend and the rest was history. From off-roading my first *car, my first high school party, to cruising around bumping gangster rap in his Dodge Dakota. Kyler is definitely as the kids say nowadays a "Day One". Ive had so many great times and memories in our 13 years of friendship (we're old dude). Thank you for introducing me to Cody, your awesome family, and hanging out with me, the weird kid with long hair. Kyler completes the three best friends anyone could have and im glad he will be up there with me. If anyone saw his groomsman proposal though, how could you say no?
Bridesmaid
The nicest thing my brother ever did was bring Nirvana into our family. Believe me when I say, she is exactly what we as a family needed, but more specifically, what I needed in a sister. I have spent countless hours sitting on her couch laughing, crying and talking about what beautiful and amazing little humans she has brought into the world. Nirvana has taught me how to love deeply and unapologetically. Two things that have had major roles in getting Daniel and I to this big day. Having her as a bridesmaid was something that was without question, I couldn't imagine this big day without my sister beside me.
