How We Met

Jaccob and Morgan’s love story started rooted in faith— meeting at a Bible study at ESU. Despite the persistent demands of collegiate sports—early-morning practices, fierce competitions, and jam-packed class schedules—they found time for each other. They grew their inevitable friendship through never-ending conversations and quality time, quickly becoming each other's confidants. From cheering each other on from the bleachers, late-night study sessions, and the hilarious knack for cracking each other up, their relationship became unstoppable. Then after Morgan's graduation, life suddenly took them in different directions. Six long months and 829 miles stretched between them; phone calls, facetimes, and countdown calendars were the new norm. But despite the miles, they found strength in those conversations, supporting one another through every triumph and tribulation. Finally, the day came when they could close that distance for good. Reunited at last, they jumped headfirst into the life they’d only been able to talk about up until then—turning dreams into reality. Proof of friendship rooted in Christ, Jaccob and Morgan have grown as individuals, as a couple, and absolutely cannot wait to become husband and wife! They’re beyond grateful to have you here to celebrate as they say, “I do” and honored to have you as the support system that will keep them true to these lifelong vows.

& Verses That Guide Us

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love does not come to an end" 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "He answered, 'Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female,' and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So, they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” Matthew 19:4-6 "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor; if either of them falls down, one can help the other up." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
