The wedding venue is located at the Culver Hotel. Culver City is close to Venice, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, Ocean Park. See below for some hotel options...

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have worked with a few hotels in the area to provide discounts. Please refer to the travel page for discount codes and links. In Culver City... The Culver Hotel and The Palihotel In Marina Del Rey... Marina del Rey Marriott and the Jamaica Bay Inn Marina Del Rey, Tapestry Collection by Hilton Culver City is close to Santa Monica for guests who would like to stay there. AirBNB is also an option. There are several hotels in the area if you prefer to stay at a different property not listed here.

Do I need a car while in town?

Answer

No. LAX is only a few short miles from the hotels and venue. Uber or a taxi will do the trick!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a $12 subterranean parking lot adjacent to the hotel. Feel free to Uber, Culver Blvd has so many great restaurants and bars you might want to enjoy before and or after!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 5:00. Please arrive early. LA traffic can be bad even on the weekend!

The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at the Culver Hotel.

Semi-formal.

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately due to limit space of the venue, kids will not be able to attend.

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately due to limit space of the venue, we cannot have extra people attend unless specifically invited.

Should I bring a wedding gift to the venue?

Answer

We are looking forward to spending our special day with you. Gifts are not necessary, and would be hard to handle at the venue! But if you do feel inclined we have a registry!

What will the wedding entail?

Answer

We have chosen to do a less traditional event. There will be a short wedding ceremony, followed by cocktails, food, and dancing. We wanted our wedding to feel more like a celebration with our close family and friends.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! At 6pm after the ceremony, the hotel will escort all guests to the second level (elevator or stairs available) for cocktail hour. This will be followed by dinner and dancing!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, there will be beer and wine. As well as a specialty cocktail, known as the Sadie Sipper.

Who is Sadie?

Answer

Sadie is Jacqueline's sweet, gentle dog. Robin scored a two for one in the deal and gets to live with both of them now. All three enjoy daily walks, cuddles and lots of love.

Is there an after party?

Answer

The Culver Hotel has a 10pm neighborhood curfew at which point the reception will conclude, but there is lively nightlife just steps from the hotel. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from!

Can I feed Sadie?

Answer

No, please! She'll try to convince you, but she has a pancreatic issue that requires a strict diet. No high fat or chocolate!
