We know out of state weddings are hard, especially if you have children. We are welcoming children if this is a necessary part of your travel plan, however please keep in mind this is not a "child-friendly" venue, meaning it's typically made for adult fun. There is natural wildlife that needs to be respected. Please consider this when making this decision for your family.
Please refer to your invitation.
For the ceremony, please wear wedding attire. You may want to reconsider any "pointed" heel styles, as they are likely to be get stuck in the grass.
While there is some parking for the apartment guests up near the apartments we encourage everyone to unload their gear and park down at the designated parking area in the open field unless they have mobility issues or will be transporting things for you. This allows safety for the cabin guests to walk unobstructed back and forth as well as keeps the area free of clutter and doors slamming and the locking horn beeps during the night near guests sleeping quarters and ensures a great experience for you. The exception for this is the crow’s nest apartments. There is specific parking for 1 vehicle per apartment parallel to the crow’s nest apartments. Arapaho and the upper cabins also have limited parking next to them although its best not to have those guests driving through the venue area. They will come and go via the back road.
Since most guest will be renting cars or staying on site, we do not have transportation to any surrounding areas. We have reserved 4 cabins with bunk beds and no running water for anyone unable to make the drive back to their off site reservation. Please note, Uber is hard to come by up in a mountain!
1. Noise MUST BE CONTAINED after 10PM. Party on, but do so in the designated locations (Gym, A-Frame Lodge where the reception is held, inside your own cabin) 2. The hiking rule: Leave no trace. Bring out what you brought in.
Pack what you would for any trip! 9,000 foot elevation has a high temperature of 80 degrees, but low temperature of 50 degrees. Most cabins include linens for the beds, unless you are in the bunking cabins. Refer to your lodging if you need to pack linens.
Refer to the "Travel" tab for all rentals on and off campsite. YES THE VENUE CABINS HAVE RUNNING WATER with the exception of the bunking cabins, which is noted.
Though we love all things outdoors, we know a lot of our guests don't! We've provided PLENTY of options for lodging in our "Travel" tab.
Please see the "Registry" tab.
We will be taking an Alaskan cruise during the peak season of the Northern Lights in the late summer/early fall of 2024.
